Online Psychology Degrees

As I wrote about in my last post, I have enrolled in a Psychology Degree program through an online university. Once I get my degree in psychology, I will need to figure out how I want to put my psychology online degree to good use. One thing that I will strongly consider is continuing my education and earning an online masters degree. There are so many online masters degree programs available that I think its never too soon to start looking at what degrees are available. The truth is, I don't really know what I want to do for a career, but I do know that whatever field I decide to get into, having a masters degree will be a huge advantage over people who have a lesser education. Please leave comments on what degree programs you would recommend to make me the most marketable candidate to potential employers.

Working toward psychology degree from an online university

I have finally decided the time is now and have enrolled in school online to obtain my psychology degree. I am very excited to return to school, and cant wait to finally receive my psychology degree. I am going to get my psychology degree from an online university because of the convenience of not having to attend scheduled classes. One thing that I wanted to be sure of was that the school that I attend is fully accredited. I also needed to know that their curriculum was well respected, and that their instructors and professors are superb. Once I obtain my bachelors psychology degree, I think I will continue to take my education to the next level and work toward my masters psychology degree.  I cannot wait for classes to begin so I can take the next step in obtaining my psychology degree. I am confident that going to an online university is something that I will enjoy, and benefit from for the rest of my life.

New Beginning

For the past several years, I have been talking and thinking about returning to college through an online university. The options for areas of study are seemingly endless, and the benefits of an advanced degree are immeasurable. I am interested in a variety of areas, such as psychology, health sciences, and education. While attending college online is something that I have never done before, I know many people who have had a great experience attending college online, and have been very successful after completing their education. This is one of the most important things to me as i return to college, because while the education itself is valuable, if it does not translate into success in the professional world then it may not be worth the time money and energy that is required to obtain the degree

Back to School Part 2

I recently made a post about returning to school, and have started the process. Its amazing how much work and thought it actually takes just to get back into it. With degrees and advanced degrees available in Health Sciences, Psychology and Education, and Business among others, there is a lot to choose from. I am going to be going to school through an online university, though I have not yet decided which one to go to. After I figure out what, and where I am going to study, I need to figure out how to come up with the money to attend. Like I said in my last post, my job will pay for tuition, however they only reimburse, so I will need to apply for a loan for at least the first semester. I'm sure there are other things that also need to consider, but I've got my hands full just with these at the moment.

Saving money on Car Insurance

Just a quick post today, as I need to get back to watching the finals :)

I was bored at work today browsing the web, and I came across an article about GPS tracking units, which can be used to locate, and recover stolen vehicles. In addition to the obvious benefits it would provide if your car was stolen, many auto insurance companies offer a discount if you have one in your car, which can quickly add up and pay for the unit itself. I am always looking so save money, especially on something like car insurance, so I will definitely be looking into these further, and most likely purchasing one.

Back to School

While many people are getting out of school right now for summer, I am once again considering going back to school through an online university to further my education. It is something that I have been putting off doing for several years now, but I know I need to hurry up and just do it. The only reason that I can think of for why I haven't done it already is laziness. My work will pay for it, so I can't use money as an excuse. I can do it all online, so I can't use scheduling conflicts as an excuse. I don't have a family, or kids to take care of, so I can't really say I don't have the time for it either. I know that I really just need to enroll,  go back, and finish, so that is what I will be doing when classes resume in the fall.

Time for a new phone???

So I am finally eligible for a new phone with Verizon and able to upgrade from my Motorola Droid. I'm at a loss for what to do though. I know that I want a 4G LTE phone, but cant decide which phone to get, or if I should wait for the dual core phones to start coming out. Of the phones that are out now, its a toss up to me between the HTC Thunderbolt, and the Samsung Droid Charge. Both of these phones are very similar, with a 4.3 inch screen, 4G LTE, and capable of providing its own WiFi hot-spot. These are the main features that I'm looking for, as I want the ultra fast 4G network, and the ability to connect my Motorola Xoom to it for internet on the go. The Samsung is a little more expensive, but I think it also has a nicer looking screen. What do you think? Should I get a new phone now, or wait for the dual core phones to come out so I'm not wanting another new phone in a few months?
